Trustee Meeting
March 19, 2013
The Board of Trustees of the Hamilton Public Library met at 6:30 p.m. March 19, 2013 at the library. Members present were: Jim Noble, Katie Dellavedova, John Kolditz, Dan Reinhardt, Nancy Denton, Bob Schneider, Cicily Knowles, Carole Buerklin. Guest: Judy Kammerer
The meeting was opened by President, Dan Reinhardt at 6:30 p.m.
MINUTES
The minutes were approved with the amendment that John Kolditz, Dan Reinhardt, and Cicily Knowles will meet to work on a budget to be presented to the City Council. John Kolditz moved and Bob Schneider seconded that the minutes be approved. Motion carried.
BILLS
Jim Noble moved and Cicily Knowles seconded that the bills be paid. Motion carried.
REPORTS
Friends of the Library-Judy Kammerer reported that the Friends of the Library are considering a Trivia Night instead of a Garden Tour. The Friends will purchase a plaque
for the utility building at the cost of $73.00. Steve Schlatter Electric will complete the electrical work in the next two weeks.
Finance-There are no CD’s maturing. A motion was made to move $10,000 from the Money Market to the General Fund. John Kolditz moved and Bob Schneider seconded. Motion carried.
Librarian’s Report-The library will have an Open House on Thursday, April 18, 2013. The Trustees will be introduced to the group.
April Fools Day pictures will be taken of those who are dressed up.
April 3rd is National Walking Day. At noon anyone wishing to take a 20 minutes walk can meet at the library.
There will be contests with prizes during National Library Week.
Instead of story time at the library Nancy will take story bags to daycare.

BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS
It was moved by Katie Dellavedova that John Denning be paid $200 to fix a hole and other cracks in the Library Meeting Room. Cicily Knowles seconded. Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS
John Kolditz moved that the budget request should be 17% across the board with an$83,000 proposed total. The budget will be presented to the City Council. Bob Schneider seconded. Motion carried.
Nancy will make suggestions as to how individual items will allocated.
Salaries and wages will be discussed at the next meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
Jim Noble moved that the meeting adjourned.
